Hi I have a 2012 polo 1.4 and it has a faulty knock sensor.
Could somebody please tell me where abouts the sensor is and how to get to it

If it is the 1.4 16v 85PS engine, are you sure that it has a knock sensor - I'd doubt it! If you are experiencing pinking on load, then I'd think that it will be due to the car burning engine oil due to wear on the bores/rings - or the oil separator is faulty, that happened to me with a 2000 BBY version of that engine. Initially I tried using UL+ petrol, that worked okay but increased fuel usage and running costs.

It's not a tsi engine.. I did a diagnostics reading with vcdS and it came back with knock sensor low voltage fault

The fault is 16711 knock sensor (g61) p0327 -000- signal too low. Mil on

Oh well it might have one, I have been caught out with VW's rubbish engine software in the past, wife's old 2002 Polo used to log Bank2 camshaft timing issues, these 4 in line engines just don't have a second cylinder bank!
