Fog Lights fitted but no front foglight option on switch

I have foglights fitted. or at least what i think are fog lights.

BUT

There is no option on the light switch for front foglights.

My car is a 2015 6C se

My mum has a 2016 se and it has the front fogs on the switch

Have you tried pulling the switch out on the sidelight position?

yes and it operates the rear foglight

Some Polo 6C only have the DRL, no foglight, in the lower bumper light. When I look up the part number of the one without foglights and look at photos, it looks similar to the one with foglight when looking at it from the front (it has dummy foglight for looks only). On the back of the housing however, the hole for bulb is plugged. I'm guessing your car has these light units with only DRL and no foglights. If you can take one of the lights out of the bumper you should be able to confirm this.

You can get light switches with both rear and front fog light positions from the internet. You will need a wiring diagram to locate the correct wiring points.
