I think it is wrong oil for any new polo. This is picture from erWin. sorry it is in czech language. I looked a little and from what i found that magnatec is not VW 508 nor 504 norm.

There is Euro 6 and Euro 6d. If your polo have Euro 6d then you have OPF for sure. New 6d norm came around september last year. Iam not sure about 1.0TSI before new EU norm.

Today i visited the dealer of vw and he told me that they use the parts which computer system appear. Which all arises from the Vehicle Identification Number. Tomorrow i will ask other dealers... If someone have done service please inform me. My car was built octomber of 2018 and delivered to me February.

If the VW dealer used 5W40 instead of 5W30, in Greece, it's up to the member to go back and ask the dealership workshop manager if they have used the correct grade of oil.
All this "I've looked this up in the internet and it should be "XY & Z". it could have been a typo error when making up the bill

Reading back, he did go and ask, but they didn't seemed too bothered. If they had been bothered, they would have taken it back in and changed the oil.

I'm having my first service today. If it comes back with any paperwork that identifies the oil grade or brand then I'll let you know. UK advised oil grade may be different from the Greek one, due to expected higher temps in Greece most of the year.

If you have long life service regime, fully synthetic oil is compulsory. If it's fixed 10000 miles/15000km/1 year then they can use semi synthetic, but generally don't.
