hello everybody, need some helps here with one error and coding/adaptation channel for 08-auto hvac
a) recently i scanned the car and found out there's error in my 09-Bcm, which is
00975 - Heated Rear Window (Z1)
011 - Open Circuit - Intermittent
Freeze Frame:

i've check the wiring connection at the rear hatch, but everything looks fine. I tested switching on the heater and it seems to function correctly. any idea where i should start looking at?
b) i retrofitted climatronic to my 6R using parts from locally produced vento.turned out the vento is not using G263 Evaporator Temperature Sensor.Therefore, my externally regulated A/C compressor with N280 never stop compressing till my LowPressure pipe and evaporator freezed up and block the air flow. So i checked again the measuring block and its clear there's no reading from G263 and it never report any fault. So i installed the G263 but still there's no reading. Luckily, i changed adaptation channel 9 from 0 to 1, and it is now getting the reading from G263 and shut-off the compressor when temperature drops around -2/-3 degree celcius. so now, i would like to know whether my adaptation channels setting are correct for my car and it would be good if someone with climatronic can share the value for adaptation channel 0 to 9. As far as i understand, there are channels to set either the car equipt with start/stop, hard-wired radiator fan or not, externally regulated compressor or not etc. but since there's no label in vcds, i've no idea.
c) anyone knows the security access code for 08-Auto hvac?

Thanks ciclo. now i can see that only channel 3 is 1 in your climatronic while there’s no adaptation channel 9.
So far, i follow the same. It seems to work. just that after long drive (30-45mins) still get the freezing coil. will monitor further. perhaps my expansion valve or regulator valve n280 is not doing well.

I think I remembered that I changed some value in the adaptation channels shown previously, but I don't remember if a SA code was necessary, unfortunately I didn't do a new reading of the channels from this unit since those dates.
I will do it when possible, which will be complicated during these dates. (party time

totally understood ciclo. just not the right time. but its ok. when i searched about climatronics. i do find it is less discussed in details. anyway, you re right. adaptation channel still can be changed without SA. i’m just asking since the labelled in Odis showed channel 4 is for externally regulated compressor while the channel is not available. Even inside odis, there’s nothing can be done with channel 4.

thank you my friend. Really appreciate the adpmap. So its clear that its adapted to RLHS with channel 2 and the channel 3 is clear for the hardwired fan system. So I followed the channel 3 with value 1. Later on, once i upgrade to RLHS and HBA, i know i need to enable channel 2. [emoji1362]
Everything seems to be working great so far with my climatronic. Just that based on measuring value, i find out that the pressure regulation by N280 is not that great, at high speed, it’s still pumping the refrigerant to a level that its easy to freeze. I’m waiting for the part now (N280 valve) to replace. Hopefully all good. If not, its gonna be a new compressor[emoji23]

Hello everybody!
I need another help again. lol. Hopefully our experts here can help me with 2 issues i have now. (especially ciclo, iichel, cnk, madwarlock, gowind, and all others)
1) AFS Module flashing & parameterization using ODIS E.
today i did stupid things. doing something i dont ve any knowledge. A friend of mine asked for help to flash one door module in his golf using his odis E 9.0.4. I’ve no idea really. so i will need to try and test and learn. So i decided why not and try flashing my AFS module using odis e flash function. I got the file from Erwin (thanks to Gowind) and i did the flashing and all seems good. But little i know that i need to write the dataset and parameterization for the module before i can code it normally using vcds. now im stuck and dont know what and how. My AFS is giving error and flashing the warning light. lol. [emoji2361]. is there any way i can correct this or i really need to look for a new module?
2) RLHS upgrade
So today i received my new RLHS sensor, as this from China, i always immediately test plug in the new sensor to check its condition.
here’s my new VCDS scan
so the installation pretty easy as i just want to check. after install, i change the coding of the RLHS to 0728DD and enabled channel 2 in adaptation climatronic. everything seems to be working except i got error in BCM saying it’s not coded correctly. is there any other byte/bit i need to enable in bcm?

ok. i re-googled ciclo’s thread (not sure for how many times. lol). i found out his post for the RLHS need to activate byte8bit5. So i did that. Error gone so far on both bcm n climatronic. [emoji1360]
btw thanks iichel! i didn’t know that channel 2 is for the fan control! i really thot its the humidity sensor. so i havent enable channel 1 inside climatronic yet. will see and update soon.
