Oh No! The starter motor!
whilst enjoying a quiet drink down the pub on sat i came out to go to a bbq to find my car would not start! after pushing it down the road i managed to bump start it, which is all gud apart from the fact each time i turn the engine off, i have to push it! took it 2my audi technician mate on sunday n the starter motors gone! the car's only a 2001 n i thought this was a bit soon,anyone else had this problem?
You should know that the barrel is the no.1 cause of problems on the 6N2. Its amazing to think, because they have been making that type for a long time, at least 6 years.
If you look at the common faults sticky, you'll see what I mean. Be nice to your barrel, always use the key the same way round and if the steering lock is engaged, be very gentle to disengage it without raunging the key.
