WRC Rear bumper part numbers

Post by ZahariGeorgiev »

Hello,
I want to replace my rear bumper with that from WRC:
vw-polo-r-wrc-02.jpg
I Want to know the OEM numbers for all necessary parts. So far as i found they are:
- rear bumper : 6R6807421BDGRU
- left light reflector : 6R0945105D
- right light reflector : 6R0945106D
- black cover : 6R6807568N 041
- cover for tow hitch: 6R6807441A 041
----------------------------
Is that correct, and are those all necessary parts for that replacement?

Keep in mind that this has never been done by factory on a WRC. That means you'll have to determine to location of the front holes yourself on the front bumper

and wondering what is that in the bag?

I still don't quite understand what you mean by bracket. In the bag are the foam inserts that go on top of the metal inner bumper. You can keep the old ones.

Ah yes. If you're familiar with etka, you can try to figure out the pr code for the wrc bumper and check all the parts specific for the wrc package. I think for example R-line is 2JE

According to Etka, this mounting is the same for all. One more wondering: what is the max rims size for ours polo's. I found that original WRC rims is with following specs: 7.5 J x 18" ET:46, PCD 5x100, so can i go on 7.5 J x 18" ET 42, PCD 5x100, without any modification ? or should i go with 7J x 17" ET 46?

7,5x18 et42 should be no problem. 7x17 et46 is OEM size so that's also perfectly fine
