Re: P0101 code - MAF

I wish it was as easy as that, I have a generic obd scanner and have cleared the fault many times but every day I get to a certain part before I get to work and the light comes flashing back on literally the exact same spot around 30 miles into my journey if I restart the car it goes and will come back later, I unplugged the maf and the car ran worse so its definitely not the maf.. What would happen if I was to unplug the dpf sensor from the hoses but still leave it plugged into the connector?

I'm not sure why does the DPF sensor need to be adapter to the car :?:
The fuse to the MAF is the same as to the starter relays, fuse 26. So we can rule that one out.
New DPF sensor should ideally be adapted, yes.

I'm thinking broken EGR to be honest. Losing coolant and P0101 could indicate a badly closing EGR valve.

So to summarise:
- DPF (differential pressure?) replaced
- P0101
- No leaks in the charge pressure piping
- MAF sensor next to air filter cleaned and replaced
- MAP sensor replaced

Could a carbon clean fix the egr issue or would you recommend having it replaced?

No, carbon cleaning will probably only clean the intake.

Since the replacement of your EGR valve is quite a pricey thing to do, I'd first get it verified by a garage that this is really the problem.
All good intentions and all, but we are just some smart people on the internet and it's an educated guess and that's about it.

U can repair egr by changing the baring and buying the plastic gear mechanisam and also cleaning ~25-30$ but if its leaking forget it.

Don’t really have the extra cash right now hoping it’s not this.. Typical with Christmas and other stuff around the corner. Not the ideal route but would an egr and dpf delete also clear these issues?

Yes, but if your county checks emissions you may get a fine. Like in Norway.
Also you if you are loosing coolant at egr, you will need a piece od metal pipe to do the EGR delete and blanking plates.
If you can do egr and pdf delete go for it, if will help the engine and the turbo in the long run.

I have checked in ODIS and there is adaptation for DPF pressure sensor. You were right.

I may look into a local remap company then as my friend got his Land Rover renamed and dpf deleted, May get them to map it from ecu

I think it's good to only start the remap if you know why it's leaking coolant. If it's a head or a pump or an EGR cooler or whatever, I think it's best to fix it before you give it a remap.

Intake temp sensor is built into MAP senzor

- You have a fault for turbo actuator also, this makes csr sluggish loose power

These codes may have been previous ones stored on the ecu where I’ve unplugged and replugged stuff in over the past weeks as he cleared everything and went further into the ecu and other parts my first drive home without any lights.. Not sure if I’m over thinking things but it almost felt different to drive too, The idle after my 40min journey home also sounded so much smoother felt like it did a regen too, Fingers crossed I could do with some luck..

Hahahahaahahah OFC it will feel better with a clean MAF and MAP sensor, also you the can can feel rough under rengen if the egr system is clogged.
