6r 1.6 TDI remap

Post by W111 DNT »

Hi,

I've recently bought a 6r 1.6tdi and I'm looking to get the car mapped. I would be looking at around 150bhp (or stage 2 from most companies) and I have been recommended by one company to look into an intercooler upgrade, although just as a recommendation. I was wondering if anyone had mapped theirs to this spec, wether they have used an intercooler or not and of so what? I've been looking at dark side intercoolers but for the price I might just keep it standard and go with a slightly lower tune around 130/135.

For 150 hp, you should remove the DPF, if you dont and you still push 150 with stock turbo it will smoke and clog the DPF and you could damage your turbo.

Yeah I was going to remove the dpf but just wondering
more about the intercoolers and if they were needed. Thanks though 👍

Its possible to get 140/150 from stock setup. Ask @iichel he's doing a 1.6 tdi project
