Which engine oil?
Hi all,
Just wondering which engine oil to buy for my 2020 Polo GTI 2.0 TSI. Engine code is DKZC, i'm not sure if the engine has a particulate filter or not. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Keith

Re: Which engine oil?
Not really answering but why are you filling it yourself? I would just let the dealer do it when its serviced.hollesk wrote: Thu May 13, 2021 10:23 am Hi all,

Re: Which engine oil?
Assume it’s for topping up between services, as some engines may use a little oil - sometimes this is only during the first few thousand miles. On previous VW’s I’ve had to add a small quantity at some point during the first year, but no more after that.

Re: Which engine oil?
If for top ups, it is safer to get the original VW engine oil from the dealer.
But in case you need to drain and change the oil, the following link has the oil specification for Polo (AW) of different engines:

Re: Which engine oil?
Just check the dealer didn't put you a 1L bottle in a black zip up case in the spare wheel area. Sometimes they do.

Re: Which engine oil?
Use Pemco / Mannol / Fanfaro oil from Autodoc. They are VW 504/507 approved and PAO / Ester based oil for ONLY £20 5L worth! Can't get better than that tbh!
