Routines

As you know, a few weeks ago, I replaced the fuel filter. This wonderful morning, I added a bottle of Liqui Moly 2522 (Injection Reiniger) right before fueling up.

Since the TSI engines are Direct Injection, I wanted to clarify why I’m using it and what to expect:
-What it will do: It cleans the fuel lines, tank, high-pressure pump, and the tips of the injectors to maintain a good spray pattern and prevent corrosion.
-What it won't do: Since it lacks PEA (Polyetheramine), it won't clean the carbon buildup on the intake valves or deep inside the combustion chamber, as the fuel never touches the back of the valves.

My plan is to run this tank completely, and then switch to Liqui Moly 21281 (Pro-Line Direct Injection Cleaner).
In the next 5,900 km I'll perform a deeper clean... along with the oil change, I will use Liqui Moly 2427 (Pro-Line Engine Flush) to clean out any oil sludge from the crankcase, and I'll switch to Liqui Moly 21281 for proper TSI carbon descaling...

Verification that the engine/motor oil is genuine.

I bought two bottles/containers/jugs/cans of the recommended long-life 4L engine oil (according to geographic area) for future maintenance intervals (with sludge cleaning) and checked its authenticity.

Everything must be clear and crisp. The codes can be verified on the official website.

Other commonly used tools that I've wanted to try/have for a long time:
-The adjustable funnel with seal for VW engines.
Image

-Quick-connect adapters for my mini 12V OEM VW air compressor pumps.
Image
I will test them meticulously to find out how they interact with the aluminum TPMS valves due to friction wear.🤷‍♂️

Tests with the oil funnel and the quick-connect adapter for tyre/tire inflation.

No comments, just pictures.😊

No damage to the aluminum direct-TPMS valve ✅ 😎, only the same dirt marks as before, which serve as a revealer of potential areas of friction.

The oil funnel (black hole 😁).

Deep uncertainty at the event horizon.
Image
A supposedly "adaptable" funnel that looks idyllic on paper, but hides a dark secret in its fitting zone.

The flawless german vacuum.
Image
A pristine TSI engine oil filler neck, waiting for a clean and steady flow of oil.

A deceptive quantum coupling.
Image
It fits perfectly on the outside! Visually misleading, it looks like a match made in heaven, but the real mystery remains hidden until you look deep inside.

The Event Horizon.
Image
You look inside and... it looks like it was designed to be a stopper 😅, the space left is so ridiculously small that it creates a deep uncertainty as to whether the oil will actually flow or just collapse into a cosmic flood all over the engine bay.

Breaking the singularity.
Image
The spark of creation in full effect 🤭, opening up escape routes so gravity can finally do its job.

The Point of No Return.
Image
Fluid dynamics optimized by hand 😄, the original design has been corrected and adapted to the real world.

Now the oil will flow smoothly without any space-time distortions.
