@ GroovyCarrot - now that you mention it they do look like Vauxhall wheels, sure ive seen something similar on a old ugly Vauxhall. I dont no wot they r, jst guessed that because they came off the Gt & had VW centres that they were VW.

@ hardhitter - if your interested make me an offer. Im gonna clean them all up in the next couple of days, so cood get you some pics soon.

Any1 have sugestions on new alloys then let me no, im open to all offers. I even entertained Tahreys idea of Ronal Teddies!
.... I think ill stick with 14"s cos if i go 4 13"s ill have 2 lower it more = more £££ & from wot ebody says theres a bit of work needed for 15"s.

Well, fair enough, I'm not exactly an expert on VW alloys, but I can say for certain that they're not BBS RA's, and that BBS RA's were the cross spokes that VW used in the early 90's. There's just something about them that doesn't look OE to me, I don't think those VW centres look original apart from anything else - they're quite easily obtainable to stick on any alloys you fancy. But hey, not like it actually matters, not like many people would notice the difference or indeed care that they're not RA's ;)

Haha I was thinking that you would be able to shed some light on the matter. But then again that would be the same as you assuming I knew loads of stuff about passats.

yeh i new they were diff from BBS RA's but I thought that mabey they were some sort of alternative. Im not sure about the offset?

the thing that made me think they were the BBS from the Gt was that i saw a pic of BBS alloys for a Polo in black & at the time thought they looked the same.............

but on closer inspection these are BBS RA's

well the offset should be stamped on the wheel somewhere. I can see some writing on the wheel rim at the bottom of the pic what does that say?It might be as high as ET47.5 (seen that on some bbs style wheels on a nova in the past) may cause a bit of grief if youve got G40 brakes. You could always get spacers though i suppose.
