hmmmmmmmmmm i got a 1.4 tdi, not a twist, on an 03 plate. got disks all round.

its just model year 2005 (75hp and under) have drums in the back,


your one is an earlier model

I'm afraid I have to confirm this. I just got my new 2005 1.4 tdi and it has drums in the back.. ah well, can't use too revealing wheels then :)

im guessing its where you press a little button on your keyfob and the key flicks out from inside?

Ah,
back on topic, surely if the 9n had discs all round it should be easy to fit discs in lieu of the drums?, if the drums were a cost cutting excerise I cannot imagine them going to the trouble of changing the abs system, economies of scale and all that. I notice that there is an option for 256 discs on some polo's can you get anybigger discs for the 9n?, another 17 mil aint that much. IMHO.
