im miles and miles away from this company? so I guess not :?

at this stage im interested if it can be done 100% on this model (which seems to be leaning to yes) and what's involved, looking up the guides for the Golf, hopefully similar

if not too bad, would be cheaper getting the stalk and bits from Vagparts/ Vw Parts and DIYing it. have access to vag-com for the programming. seems that it needs wiring to the ecu and stalk changing and then activation with vag-com, right?

thanks

That is the one, not a bad price (as comes with wiring too), but Vagparts do it slightly cheaper

two versions of stalk, think we would need the 1J0 version? + wiring

im still in two minds, DIY for £70 + post sounds good :?: :D

Did anyone got it fitted yet??? I am thinking about it but the DIY way is going to be too complicated of these wiring so I prefer to get specialise fitting them in. I live in the South... is there any VW specialise down here does do this kind of stuff??

Cruise Control - Does anyone have it on their 6N2 polo ?

Post by Neil Polo GTi »

Followed this long chain of e-mails but still can't find anyone who has had the cruise control fitted. Has anyone had it fitted now retrospectively and where from ?

Cheers,

Neil

no mate but it can be done, just £195 is alot of money to spend on something that keeps you at the same speed!
