INLET
My inlet manifold does not have a pipe coming off the exhaust onto the inlet mainfold to warm it? should it have it on a 1.3 2g engine? Its just haynes says that I have the 1.05 version???? the inlet has never been changed or modified. Can anyone explain this to me????

^ The silver pipe in that photo is what you're missing, yeah? Should lead from the exhaust manifold heat shield to an inlet in the air intake housing, which is controlled by a vacuum operated flap which opens when the engine temperature is very cold and allows warm air into the carburettor. Good in the winter to prevent carb icing and to get it running a bit more smoothly when you first start up. However, I notice you have a K&N bolt on air filter, so you won't have any kind of inlet for this pipe so it would be a bit useless having one
