i just pulled the tube off the bottle in the front then pulled it completely out
as for the blanking plate i think cult society do one?
i just fibreglassed mine with a bolt on the back to fix it on and smoothed the front

removed the wiper and bent the water supply over and cable tied it.i got a rubber bung for the standard plate and think im going to have to use some clear mastick to fix the plate back in position until i can get a proper blanking plate.any other ideas on how to fix the original bunged plate back in position other than mastick.also even with the proper blanking plates, are they safe as i noticed the boot lock mechanism could possibly be tampered with if the plate is removed, due to the hole being left due to the wiper being removed.has anyone had problem with people popping the boot lock using the hole left after removing the wiper

i smoothed my original plate and thn bonded it on but it only stcuk for like 3 months,
at the minute ive got a bolt fibreglassed onto the rear of it and then poked thro the hole with a nut o the reverse to hold it on. youd have to put some effort into it to pull it off i thnk

went to focus today to add some security since removing the wiper.i brought a smooth headed black m10 bolt and black rubber tap washer and put a metal washer, front and back before tightening up.i then plugged the black plate and used heavy duty velcro cut to size to cover the bolt till i get a proper blanking plate, job done and no one can pop the boot.sorted!

yeah wouldnt risk just using a rubber bung on its own.at least ive got a head start on em.it can only be un done from the inside as the bolt has a round flat head and saved myself £20 in the process
