hey guys, im not too sure wether i fully understand this alloy business :oops:

Mk4 Golfs have a 5x100 stud pattern, as do Mk6/7 Polos.

On that basis they should fit.

i can confirm they fit. (wheel wise)
but the tyres are too high profile (height), which means youll need new smaller tyres.

Hey, Yes they will fit, If you have these tyres, they will JUST fit around your wheel arches... I know this because I have the same 16inch alloys and same spec tyres...
The front wheels will go full lock both directions no problem, but literally leaving 10mm (if that) between tyres. The rear wheels are can be a problem, the plastic wheel arch can be modified yourself by makin the wheel arch bigger using allen key to adjust.... I found that on my Left rear wheels have plenty of space.. but the right hand, it was really tight and was scrapin when on roundabouts :S... but i think i fixed that prob now :)
But yeh, they will fit, but as carmadaaron, recommend gettin lower profiles...
