hello,
I think that i asked this in the wrong part of the forum.
Whats the best way of dealing with bubbling rust/paint. the rust is only slightly cmoing through, about the size of a 5 pence piece.
I dont really want to go made by grinding it off because i cant afford a professional resray at the moment cos of starting a new job. Was going to get a can mixed up by VW and have a go but what do you guys suggest.
Ill try and get a photo tonght.
Small rust problem.

That, is very true! The previous owner made a rough repair on the side of my bonnet, the paint doesnt match and i rekon thats why.dragon_green wrote:red oxide is a type of primer.
is your car a solid colour or is it metallic? i'll tell you this - you won't get a metallic spray to look like the original paint.
I have a rust problem now on my boot too, so I literally scrape the stuff off?
