7x16 et23 with 15mm adapters?!

Post by Moonska »

Has anybody run anything similar to this on the rear of a 9n?

After a quick mock up i think there will be too much poke :-(
Maybe a roll & flare might help haha

Its a 1.9TDi

Feel free to post some wheel porn
Cheers guys

What are you running at the minute?

This will come in handy and tell you the difference

Im still running standard sport 15x6 et43 at the moment, so its going to poke a lot more lol 48mm extra.
Its the adpters making them a et8 thats the issue.
The 6J fronts will be tight too i think. May have to have a rethink!

Porsche fuch :)

Im building a 71 beetle and they were bought initially for the bug but they will be too tight on the brakes. So its either sell them or squeeze them on the polo.

If you run a bit if stretch you'll probably be lfine, used to run 7x15 et13 on my lupo and was fine once arches were rolled, that was with 165/50r15 tho, ideally woulda prefered slightly wider tyres but woulda needed a little bit of.camber maybe

Cheers guys :)

BICKERTON - Cheers mate, only 4mm extra poke than yours then, are you running camber shims? What size are you running on the front? Im unsure what the offset of a 16x6 fuch is, but looking at it, thats prob going to be more of a problem than the rear.
If they will work, deff a future plan :)
Ive just had 4 new tyres so will wear them first i guess.

Nope, no camber shims and the arches are untouched other than bending back the brackets on the front arch liners
