Just been to Volkswagen to pick up a Loan car until mine is ready. Free motoring for a while. Apparently my polo gti + won't be ready until nearly March. I ordered on the 12th January. I suppose I should be happy with months of free motoring but it is the base model polo they have loaned me.

Just come back from the dealers. They are saying that order will be open for GTI+ in November when they will be tested (WLTP). The customers will be given a 38week delivery. They could not say that my already 38weeks I have waited since ordering in January would be taken into account so a 76+ weeks...

gti + Brescia alloys, climate and Sat nav.. Grey.

just got a build week. Week 48. Should have the car in January, one year after ordering.

Spoke to my dealer yesterday he is saying before Christmas now basically he said there going to try get them out as quick as possible he said he surprised if they get into next year and expect build week within next 14 days Ordered mine on the 12 th January. Have been told I'll get it after Christm...

My dealer rang me yesterday. He said he has been told they are starting building again in November. He's saying I will get the car in January, a full year after I ordered it. At least he hasn't been promising unrealistic build dates...

That is utterly ridiculous, waiting over 8 months and no build date. VW don’t deserve to sell cars. I am annoyed about my order, but a January order with still no build date is inexcusable. What does the dealer have to say? the dealer thought it maybe the upgraded alloys. He looked at all the order...

Checked today. It was the 12th January when I ordered my polo gti +. Still no build date.

ordered mine on the 12th January. Grey, brescia, climate. Still no sign of a build date. The garage confirmed it will be on a 19 plate as the factory is on a two month shut down. Can't work out why other people are getting their cars when I ordered before them.

I find it difficult to believe that the factory will be shut down for two months because of model year changes. The car has only been available for order for a few months so why make changes so soon, especially as the car seems to be selling so well? I can understand that the goodies you get for a ...
