Hi how much would you spend on your polo to keep it on the road? Well I paid £125 for my 92 polo coupe CL & about £210 so far' I may have to pay £80 to get the gearboxs done.

I got the first distributor from GSF in the first place and it was the wrong one and it was the only one they had or do.

so I got the complete bosch distributor + cap from euro car parts £92.24.

I got the bosch distributor today £92 put it on within 15 minutes. And I timed it by some photo's I took before I remove the old one.

and friend put a strobo timing light on and told me I got it spot on now thats what I call luck. :o

well she's running fine now just hope she stays that way :lol ...

I was on my way home from work the other day (friday 13th) and my 92 polo coupe engine just died on me I waited for about 30min's for the RAC to arrive,

he did some test and told me the distributor had gone.:cry:

I got a new distributor put it on but no matter how hard we tried we just can't get ...

hi what would the mpg on a 1992 polo CL coupe 1043cc with (single-point injection) be. And what is the bhp?

I got the rear shock and the under sill done for £121 and I also got them to replace the fuel filter at the same time which cost £20 more not bad save's me doing it myself. it's so much better to drive now.

I would of gone for the mint mk2 golf GTi myself but thats me. but I very happy with my polo cl coupe for the moment any photo's of your new gt? would like see it.

:( Hi as I said my Polo CL Coupe just failed it's mot gutted, here the reasons why it failed.

001 offside (outer sill) seat belt anchorage prscribed area is exessively corroded [5.1.b.6]

002 offside rear shock adsorber has a serious fluid leak [2.7.3]

my headhights are well good here's some photo's, the headlight loom is standard. I have now put osram 30% in now and WOW.
