You cant actually 'reset' the camber on a 9n to a standard position after lowering it, there is no adjustment for it. You can only set the camber side to side to ensure that it is equal on each side by adjusting the subframe on its mountings (detailed in the workshop maual)

Well finally lowered the car this weekend on a Spax suspension kit. Its down -50mm and I am pretty happy with the stance of the car.

Like the lowerage and colourage of the engine cover!

Although i'd have to straighten the oil cap as it would annoy me - god im such a perfectionist...

I know where your coming from  , drives me nuts but that is it in the fully home position. Tried taking it off and having a fiddle with it but no luck.

Got the shocks from Jackson Tuning on (ahem) Club Polo. And used Spax
-50mm springs from POTN.

http://www.potn.co.uk/vw_c1473_3203_7834_7871.htm

Handles alot more positively on highspeed cornering and roundabouts, the ride can be a bit harsh on poor roads, and theres plenty of them in Edinburgh, but I can live with that.

Also put Powerflex bushes on it because after lowering the wishbone bushes started squeaking quite badly but the new bushes sorted that out.
