Re: Heater plugs fuse!!!!!!!!!!!!
I presume you mean glow plugs and not heaters?
Re: Heater plugs fuse!!!!!!!!!!!!
polo tdi's often dont even use the heater plugs to start the engine unless its below a certain temperature not quite sure wat it was 6 degrees or sumet so oftens the case you dont get power to them cuz the atmospheric air is enough to warm up once compressed in the bore by the piston so you might not be looking at heater plugs for your fault here, let us know how you get on.

Re: Heater plugs fuse!!!!!!!!!!!!
there is no power at all going to the glow plugs when the ignition comes on, the glow plug light lights up on the dash, but theres no power going to the plugs themselves, we have put a switch with a direct feed to the battery and it did help slightly but then stopped working?
problem is, everytime i get into it it takes f****n ages to start, jus makes me look silly when im there for agggeeesss waitin for it to catch?
anybody got any more ideas??

Have you plugged it into VAGCOM or similar mate? If not, I'd strongly recommend doing so as it will help you out
