with standard speakers and headunit and little knowledge your best bet would be VW dealer if you ahve a warranty. the speaker is very unlikely to be blown its most likely a loose connection somewhere or a faulty headunit if you knwo anyone who knows about ICE get them to give you a hand getting the ...

i agree with logistix, when i was running my stock speakers off an amp and had a sub people were amazined that they were the standard speakers as they sounded pretty dam good for what they were and went loud. someone offered to buy them off me when i upgraded!! definately get a HU not speakers!!! mo...

creaking/squeaking noise when turning at low speeds

as above really, vw garage cant find a problem, it also creaks at the front when i go over speed bumps, anybody experianced this? and know how to fix it!!!??? thanks

upgrading your speakers whilst using your standard HU will hardly do anything, the headunit is where you gain loudness and quality, TRUST ME!!! get a 100quid headunit off ebay and i promise you wont look back.

oh and the speakers are 6.5 inches in the front.

i get about 35mpg average, with lots of 5.5k action it goes to about 30, tops i ever get is about 38ish.

the clips on the boot are like rly rly thin metal strips and go into slots on the card, and it seems impossible to slot them all back in. i just screwed it back on and hit it a couple of times, :lol: its not quite on right tho.

yer i just managed to get it off, i went back with more determination and a flathead screw driver, all came off ok. but how do you get it back on!! the clips are impossible to go back on!!

hi, i was wondering if anybody knew how to remove the boot lid card? i unscrewed the screws in the handles of the card and prized a few clips away around the adges but it seems to not want to come any further? anyboyd have any experiance of this??

i think my pump is broken, i have tried pushing the pipe back into the pump (in the engine bay) but it doesnt seem to stay :cry: is it supposed to simply stick back in, or is there some sort of technique? should i ring up the bastard vw dealer and give them a good old shouting?

basically the colder the air, the more performance you will get, but i doubt your gonna get much more than a couple of HP, i'd stick with your K+N and get a de-cat and new backbox, re-map, cams etc. if you want POWER. what engine do you have by the way?
